A Message From Hala Gear about COVID-19

Hala Family,

We're sorry for staying silent for so long. The rapidly changing coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic is a source of uncertainty for all of us. We know you’re concerned and so are we. 

At times like this communication is key. I’m writing today to share what we’re doing in response to this public health crisis and to let you know how we’ll continue to provide you with the high level of support and service you’ve come to expect from us at Hala Gear. 

The health and safety of our community—our employees, customers, and partners—is our top priority. 

Based on the guidance of public health experts, we’ve asked our employees to work remotely. We are retaining a core group of shipping and receiving employees at our warehouse in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. All of our third-party shipping facilities, including Auckland, are open and practicing caution and intense sanitation when handling products. 

Despite our remote (and very clean!) status, Hala Gear is committed to providing Class V service to you all. 

We encourage you to email us at sup@halagear.com. This is the fastest way for us to assist those overseas.

If email does not work for you, we are available intermittently via Facebook Messenger and Instagram DMs. Feel free to reach out whenever – we would love to help you find a way to get out and paddle during these times of social distancing.

We hope to see you out on the water soon. In the meantime, try to enjoy the simple pleasures of life and our beautiful outdoor spaces.
